How to set up Email on Android Print

Instructions are for stock Android 5.x "Lollipop".  Other Android devices may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer.  Please refer to instructions for your device for specific steps.

Note: Images can be enlarged by clicking on them


Step 1:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Select Accounts

  • Select Add account

  • Select Personal (POP3)

  • Enter your email
  • Click NEXT

  • Enter your password
  • Click NEXT

Step 6:

On the Incoming server settings page, set as below:

  • USERNAME: your email address
  • PASSWORD: your password
  • SERVER: mail.domain.com (replace with your domain name)
  • PORT: 110
  • SECURITY TYPE: STARTTLS (accept all certificates)
  • Delete email from server: When I delete from Inbox (recommended - but can be set as desired)
  • Click NEXT

Step 7:

On the Outgoing server settings page enter as below:

  • SMTP SERVER: smtp.domain.com (replace with your domain name)
  • PORT: 587
  • SECURITY TYPE: STARTTLS (accept all certificates)
  • Require signin: Yes
  • USERNAME: your email address
  • AUTHENTICATION: enter your password
  • Click NEXT

Step 8:

  • Set preferences as desired (note frequent e-mail check will reduce battery life).
  • Click NEXT

  • Enter an Account name (optional) and Your name
  • Click NEXT

Your account is set up and email is on its way!
