To perform nslookup on Windows XP:
1) Click Start > Run (or press the Windows key + R on your keyboard)
2) In the run box enter "cmd" > OK
3) In the command prompt enter "nslookup domain.com" without quotes > press ENTER
4) Output will show the DNS server being used and the record lookup result

To perform nslookup on Windows 7:
1) Click Start > in Search programs and files enter "cmd" > press ENTER
2) In the command prompt enter "nslookup domain.com" without quotes > press ENTER
3) Output will show the DNS server being used and the record lookup result

To perform nslookup on Windows 8:
1) Click Start > Search
2) In the search box enter "cmd" > press ENTER
3) In the command prompt enter "nslookup domain.com" without quotes > press ENTER
4) Output will show the DNS server being used and the record lookup result
