This applies to Windows hosted websites. For Linux hosted websites please refer to How to set website default documents (DirectoryIndex for Linux hosting)

1. Log into your Action Global Cloud Billing Portal by going to and click Login

2. Navigate to Services > My Services

3. A list of your services will be displayed including hosting plan type, domain name, price, billing cycle, next due date, and status

4. Click on the service you wish to access

5. Click Open control panel

6. Ensure the desired website is selected on the Subscription drop down list located on top right

7. Navigate to Websites

8. Click on the down arrow to show all available features

9. Click Virtual Directory

10. Click Directory Properties

11. Set Default documents option to Enter custom value

12. Enter the default documents in the entry box, one entry per line

For example:

When browsers do not provide the name of a document within your site, IIS will look for the specified default documents and serve the first one found. If you do not specify the default documents, but turn on the Directory browsing, then the directory listing will be displayed in browsers instead of the index page.
